The Penn-Del Chapter of the ISA will be offering the Chain Saw Specialist Course on December 8th, 2021. This course is in partnership with the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) and includes the Chain Saw Specialist Guide.
TCIA’s Tree Care Academy Chain Saw Specialist course is designed to train tree care employees in hazards, as well as accepted practices for chain saw operation and other associated tasks.  The course covers: Hazard awarenessProcedures for chain-saw operation and maintenance Correct PPE for chain-saw operators Use of a chain saw aloft Communicating with crew members for fellers, climbers and bucket operators Tree inspections and building a work plan Bucking, felling and pruning cut techniques
* This course does not involve participant use of a chainsaw.
Chainsaws will be there for display and educational purposes only. *

Cost: $30 for Penn-Del ISA members
$35 for non-members
